Hose Ban:
The use of hoses on decks for any purpose including watering plants is now banned due to multiple complaints and serious concerns about common area use. Using a hose and its subsequent spray to water plants creates runoff that, at the very least, flows onto balconies below. This, in turn, creates a nuisance to others that can easily be avoided by the thoughtful, targeted use of watering cans. At worst, the continued use of a hose to water plants (and its overflow) increases the possibility of structural damage.
This common sense policy goes into effect immediately.
Additionally, extending a hose or hose mountings of any kind from the ground to the second floor deck is an unapproved exterior alteration and any such hose should be removed.
Note: There is a hose setup that remains by the mailroom that can be used for car washing and hose setups may remain for possible landscaping/landscaper use if needed.
